Silent auction, dinner to benefit Comstock Park School Foundation Nov 20

Over thirty trees decorated by local businesses and organizations have so far  been donated for the silent auction to be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 6PM-8PM Comstock Park High School Cafeteria.  It's not like there is direct competition, but there are some organizations who are determined their tree will bring in the largest amount of revenue in the silent auction. 


Women's Night Out - Late Night Luau tickets go on sale this saturday

Mark your calendars - tickets for the 1st Annual Women's Night Out - Late Night Luau go on sale Saturday, November 13 at the Comstock Park Arts & Crafts Show.  The Comstock Park PTO will have a table at the show offering tickets for the January 21, 2011 event.  Tickets are $20 general admission, additional $5 to reserve a scrapbook/craft table (limited availability).  Get your girlfriends together for an evening of pampering, entertainment, silent auction, vendor shopping and more.  All proceeds to benefit the Comstock Park PTO.

KHPS cross country athletes qualify for state finals

Congratulations to Allison VanPatten, Blake Bitner, Jeff Bajema, and Russ Werra for their fine performances this season in leading our cross country teams. The boys team won an unprecedented five invitationals and was runner-up at two invites. The boys team also finished the season as OK Conference Champions. All runners pictured at the left were state qualifiers and participated in the Division 1 state meet in Jackson on November 6. At the state meet, the times for Jeff, Blake, and Russ were the 2nd best, 3rd best, and 4th best times respectively in school history. Congratulations to all cross country athletes and Coach Russ Gerbers.

Pet Food Drive Nov 10 - Dec 10

Comstock Park, MI - Royal Glen apartments is holding a pet food drive from November 10th through December 10th. All donations will go to the Kent County Humane Society. Bag dog and cat food, blankets, toys and treats can be dropped off to the Royal Glen Office at 4306 Royal Glen Dr, NE, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday. Call 784-7880 with any questions.

Three Good Excuses to Dine at Applebee's more than once this Month

There are ate least three good excuses to dine and have fun at Applebee's at 3851 Alpine Ave NW the next two weeks (besides great food and fun).

1.  Veterans and active military personnel eat free on Veteran's Day, this Thursday, November 11, 2010.  That's also a chance for you to treat some one!

2.  Wednesday November 17th is Ladies Night Out.

3.  Friday, November 19th, 20% of your check will be donated to the Comstock Park Rotary Club by the Alpine Applebee's provided you bring a coupon.


Comstock Park High School Football Fans Cheer Team from Home

Comstock Park High School football fans gathered at the R & R Coffee House and at MAD DOGZ  to listen to the radio broadcast of the  play off game between Comstock Park and Kingsford  that was being played 440 miles northwest of here.  The Panthers prevailed 30-15, much to the enjoyment of the fans


KHHS Golfers Earn Recognition

Congratulations to senior Morgan Clay and junior Alyssa Kamyszek. Morgan earned first-team All-Conference honors and golfed well enough at Regionals to qualify for the Golf State Finals in October. Alyssa earned Honorable Mention All-Conference Honors for her performance in league play. Overall the Girl’s golf team finished 3rd in the Conference. Good Job Ladies!
