For the 19th year, the public is invited to drive thru West Michigan’s largest animated light show thru January 2nd.

Bring the family to the Fifth Third Ballpark located at 4500 West River Drive in Comstock Park from 6pm to 9pm to experience over 50 animated displays with 40,000 lights, stretching out over a mile.

Steel City Rovers to perform in New Era, Michigan

Steel City Rovers are bringing their show, “Winter Tidings” to Morat’s Bakery and Pub Stage in New Era, MI on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 7:00pm.

This group from Canada, performs a mix of old world Celtic seasonal standards, secular and non-secular works and some of their new compositions tailored for the season. An energetic show of toe tapping jigs, reals and uplifting songs. A great seasonal outing.

The cost for this great show is a $5.00 cover charge; dinner prices from $10.00 - $15.00 from the dinner menu.

There is no pre-registration needed & you might want to decorate your bikes to possibly win a prize.

For the sixth year, the Comstock Park Educational Foundation invites the community to take part in the favorite Holiday Fundraising Festival.

This is the chance to enjoy entertainment by talented Comstock Park students, while sampling great food from area restaurants, along with the opportunity to bid on over 30 centerpiece, trees or wreaths.

It’s breakfast time again, Saturday, November 14th from 8 – 11am, at the Boat & Canoe Club in Grand Rapids, MI and what a great job the Women’s 356 Auxiliary does serving this up.

Menu for breakfast is: eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage links, bacon, pancakes, along with coffee, milk and juice. All this for just $8.00.

Celtic Festival in Sparta on Saturday, August 8th

Whether you are Irish or not, Sparta, MI is the place to be on Saturday, August 8th for their Celtic Festival. The party begins at 10:45am at Rogers Park with the blessing of the Bagpipes!

The Festival will feature 5 Irish Bands, one of them being Pet in the Creel with Toby Bresnahan, five Dance Troupes, Celtic Food & Craft Vendors and a children’s area from noon until 5pm. At 9pm, Paddy’s Road takes the stage to close the festival.

Rogers Park is located at 75 N. Union St. Events will also take place at Balyeat Park, located at 208 Olmstead St.
