It’s May, which means it’s time to paint the town purple.

Officials from Alpine and Plainfield Townships have signed proclamations declaring May “Paint the Town Purple Month” in support of Relay for Life of Comstock Park.  Organizers for Relay for Life of Comstock Park are also encouraging home and business owners to participate on May 10 by decorating themselves, storefronts, vehicles, etc. to show that Comstock Park is fighting back against cancer. 

Relay for Life of Comstock Park will kick off  its annual walk-run May 17 at 12 p.m. at Comstock Park High School. Proceeds from the event will go to the American Cancer Society.

COMSTOCK PARK, Mich.- Amore Trattoria Italiana is hosting a dinner to benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life on Sunday, April 28. 

Tickets to the 5 p.m. event are $30 per person, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to Relay For Life of Comstock Park. 

"We feel very honored to have Amore located in Comstock Park.  Not only is the food delicious but Maurizio and Jenna Arcidiacono are very gracious and supportive throughout the entire West Michigan area," said Dawn Swafford, promotions chair for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Comstock Park.

Comstock Park, MI - Culver's of Comstock Park, 4280 Alpine Avenue NW, will donate a percent of their sales to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Comstock Park on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.

3rd Annual Bowling For A Cure - Together We Will Strike Down Cancer and Spare Lives!

Comstock Park, MI - Comstock Park is partnering with the American Cancer Society in a fun, family-oriented, fundraising event, "Bowling For A Cure".  On Sunday evening, April 21st, at 5:00pm, we are hoping that you and your family can join in this exciting event as a prelude to the upcoming Relay for Life to be held this May.

Relay For Life is the most successful fundraising event in the nation and is the signature event for the American Cancer Society.  This years Relay For Life of Comstock Park will be held at Comstock Park High School, May 17-18, 2013.

"Bowling For A Cure" will be held at Westgage Bowl located at 4486 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI.  Participation cost for the event is $10 per person which includes two games of bowling, shoe rental & pizza.  A portion of all proceeds will go towards Relay For Life of Comstock Park.

A Sleepover for a Cause: Seeking Additional Teams for Relay For Life of Comstock Park

Comstock Park, MI - Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's national signature, overnight fundraising activity.  Teams of eight to 15 members gather with tents and sleeping bags to participate in the largest fundraising walk in the nation.  Relay For Life unites friends, families, businesses, hospitals, schools and churchs...people from all walks of life.  Teams seek sponsorship prior to the Relay, all with the goal of supporting a cure for cancer.

Teams are encouraged to sign up early for the 6th annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Comstock Park to take place May 17, 2013 at Comstock Park High School in Comstock Park, MI.

"By organizing early, teams have more time to raise money for the American Cancer Society," said Kari Kippen, Event Chair.

Relay For Life is a fun-filled, overnight event that mobilizes communities throughout the country to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones and empower others to fight back against
