Local businesses form Alpine Township Business Association

On March 26, 2015, over forty Alpine Township Businesses met at the Alpine Township Hall. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss crime prevention and the development of a Business Association. As a result of that meeting the Alpine Township Business Association (ATBA) was established.

ATBA is a business organization comprised of area businesses who are looking to promote their business, receive valuable education on topics such as social media and small business regulation, collectively contribute to the community as well a serve as a voice for the business community to the Alpine Township Board.

The current Board Members include...President - Dana Quick/Edward Jones; Vice President - Omar Cuevas/Fifth Third Bank; Secretary - Brenda Haisma/Haisma Heating & Cooling; Treasurer - Michelle Thiss/Comerica Bank; Marketing - Chris Brennan/Premier Properties; Trustees - John Schaefer/Jack Brown Produce, Ryan Guernsey/Kent County Sheriff's Department, John Phillips/Fox Buick GMC and Kevin Pratt/Quality Liquid Feeds. "A lot of thought went into the selection process of the initial board", said Quick, ATBA President. "We wanted to set the foundation with a well rounded group representing the variety of the businesses we have in Alpine Township." By developing a board from the various industries, ATBA will have the ability to benefit all businesses. "Whether you are in banking, agriculture, automotive sales or a service industry, ATBA wants to help promote your business" stated Quick.

A discounted rate of $50 for the first year membership will be offered until August 31, 2015.
